Artistic Manifesto & Research Methodology
Lavi Li’s artistic methodology moves away from superficial commentary or declarative exposures of social conflict. In an era where art is frequently reduced to a utilitarian tool focused on flat, negative connotations, she seeks to restore art to its foundational, research-driven, and humanistic core.
Her approach is an active journey of inquiry with a multi-layered underlying narrative, where painting serves as a space for profound exploration. Rather than surface-level statements, Lavi Li strives to uncover genuine, nuanced emotions that stir the soul without relying on artificial provocation. By turning her focus toward traditional labor, historical memory, and human dignity, she explores the constructive nature of existence, offering viewers both a conceptual and aesthetic anchor.
“I aim to restore art to the significant, foundational baseline it has always carried—not merely as a passive reflection, but as an exploratory path. In my search, I strive to uncover not just observations, but true emotions that move the human soul.” |
